The listing, HIGHLY collectible Dale Earnhardt Nascar Pin has ended.

From my mother's estate I found this little treasure. It is marked 1996 and is officially licensed by APC or APG. I can't tell my eyes are too old. All I know is that I could not find another one like in online. So maybe there is a Dale fan you know who would love this pin.

I think i know where this pin cam from if i'm correct this pin was given to people at a Banquet event for the grand opening of a NASCAR simulation racing center in a mall in Illinois where you raced in real races and the car would tilt and move like you were actually driving the car I was in Dale Earnhardt's car when the place opened and the best part was everyone that was participating in the race simulation got to vote on what track to race at and the one that was voted for the most was the Daytona 500 which I won!!!! I also got the privilege of meeting Dale Earnhardt at that banquet i even got a hat from him that he signed right in front of me unfortunately that hat was stolen from my house when it got broken into but the memory of shaking Dale Earnhardt's hand and meeting him and talking to him is unforgettable and I will always remember it he was my favorite driver all the way to the end I was actually sitting in the grand stands near the end of turn 3 at the Daytona 500 in 2001 that is another memory i will never forget....

That's pretty cool. My mother had it for several years and I just found it in her estate and thought a great nascar fan would enjoy it. :) Thanks for telling us about that for it is a VERY interesting story! Not to mention awesome you got to meet him!
