I wouldn't list something without knowing exacly what it is.
The seagate external case was purchased on amazon with NO HARD DRIVE just a bare external case. I put in a 1TB Western Digital Hard Drive.

Does it come with an HDMI hookup or? and will usb 3.0 work with an older desktop, I'm not sure what the difference is between 2.0 and 3.0? My daughter wants this to store movies on and I'm new tech challenged. Thanks for any guidance you can give me.

Yes it comes with everything you need to connect it to your PC.
It is USB 3.0 which means if your PC has a USB 3.0 port then you can transfer files more quickly. This will also work with USB 2.0
