Tracking is not included with first class anymore they USED to give you a PID number that used to track but that stopped a month or two ago. Now you have to ship priority or standard for tracking or pay $1.05.
Hi...welcome to Listia!! Can you get verified please...also you'll get tons more bidders if your verified. It shows bidders that your a trusted seller because you've been verified. I really want to bid on your auction...thanks so much!! Kate
You can ship up to 13 oz first class, anything above 13 oz has to go Priority or Parcel Post. If you print labels online, the cost of shipping first class typically ranges from about $1.93 - $4.12 or so, depending on weight. Not a bad deal, especially because tracking is including. If you take it to your Post Office counter, you'll have to pay for tracking separately.
Oh, just make sure your packages are always thicker than 3/4" to send out First Class parcel with tracking. If they're not (for example, if you were shipping a flat magazine in a large envelope, it will not be considered a first class parcel (it would be a first class large envelope) and will not qualify for tracking. But it looks like your items should make a padded envelope thick enough that this wouldn't be a problem for you. You could always add some bubble wrap or packing peanuts to beef up your package if your package was thinner than 3/4"
Sorry, that's a lot of info, but I've been learning too and thought I'd share.
Copy and paste that into your url bar and then sign into your paypal account if you're not already signed in. And Voila!!! You can add your customer's shipping into and print! Pretty simple. Just bookmark that page so you don't have to go hunting for the link.
