3 bucks is max your allowed to charge for shipping on Video Games per listia rules. Fun game by the way, Fanned and Watching.

The amount is placed as around $3 so I don't have to answer a hundred messages about shipping. Or to have each individual address sent to me to check on shipping. So it is just easier to state around $3. In actuality it cost a bit less. After close of auction I get the address and put it on PayPal and I charge what PayPal states the shipping is. Oh listia also states "* you may only charge more than the listed amount if your exact shipping cost is actually higher and can be verified via weight/dimensions etc." Believe me I am not making any $$ off of these. I post items here, just to have something to do. Thanks for checking out my auctions.

Ok well not sure if you know but if you ship via Media Mail through USPS anywhere in the US would be no more than 3 dollars including a tracking #, The rule you stated is in regards to if you list a Shipping cost for an item (say 2.50) and it turns out more (3.50) They have set rates on the site for media, Dvds, Cds, and Video Games which was updated on the 1st of July.

You cannot mail games via Media mail. This is from the USPS site "It can’t contain advertising, video games, computer drives, or digital drives of any kind." It has to be sent 1st Class, priority, or parcel. https://www.usps.com/ship/media-mail.htm

It could have been because I ship so much, don't know. I trade movies, games, and books on other sites, so needless to say I do a lot of shipping.

LOL, you have been lucky. I have actually had my packages inspected a few times, ones that were sent media. They had books in them, but was told not to ship games via media. I had taken a pile of packages to the P.O. 1st class and media. For some reason they decided to check what I was sending media. The P.O. is crazy at times.

Yea, My PO is a small little office and the guy does not really care so that could be why too lol, but either way It shouldn't be more than 3 bucks unless your shipping to canada or using a flat rate.. So I will be watching! Fanned as well btw

I have PayPal, but no money in it or a credit card... I signed up because I saved codes from candy bars and got a free kit-kat T-shirt... free shipping... but you had to sign up to get it....

WOW, you mean you are offering a tip? LOL (just kidding) I charge what paypal charges. Auctions states around $3, it is usually under. That is what I charge. Just easier to say around $3 than answering every question about how much is shipping to ,.....

You are at least 200 miles from me. I hope you and all your loved ones were safe in the horrible storm you recently had there. Cannot imagine the damage that was caused.

Shar pei is right about media mail excluding video games. Here are the pricing guide for sending one PS3 game via USPS. For most PS3 games with manual, case, and disc, and your standard bubble envelope, the weight should be a hair less than 5 OZ but sometimes it could be a hair more than 5 oz in which case 6 oz must be indicated. For 5 oz first class parcel, the postage is $2.05. For 6 oz first class parcel, it's $2.22. Add $0.19 delivery confirmation through paypal shipping. Media mail for under 1lb is $2.44 without delivery confirmation and it takes a lot more days than first class mail. For both Media Mail and First Class Parcel at this weight range, the price is same no matter where you are in the lower 48 states (I am not sure about Hawaii and Alaska). ... please take this for what it's worth.
