Description

The listing, 1700-1800s Detecting finds has ended.

This assortment of artifacts was collected on a friend's property near the Connecticut Massachusetts line. The deed from the property dates back to the early 1700's but I believe these artifacts date from the later half of the 18th century into the 19th century. These were all found around a small grouping of cellar holes. The large cents are heavily worn and the acidic New England soil has left it's Mark but one can make out a matron head and what I believe to be a capped bust. The third copper I think may have been a Connecticut Copper but mere traces remain. There are a few buttons, pipe stem fragments, a die cut Spoon (completely flat) some sort of pin or brooch, a cog and some sort of ornamental brass(?) piece. If the bidding should exceed 20,000 I will include a display case. Here's an opportunity to own a little bit of our country's history. Happy Bidding.

Thanks for watching and fanning. I've added something to the pot, hope y'all like. Let's see if we can't get that bid up there so I can toss in the display case too. Good luck!
