Willie was the most talented all-round player ever to grace a baseball diamond. he batted over .300 10 times and finished his 22-year career with 3283 hits (ninth all time). Willie won four NL home run titles, going over 50 in one season twice, ranked first in the NL (third all time) with 660 homers and led NL four years in a row in SBs. Considered the finest center fielder in history, Willie had the most lifetime putouts and total chances of any outfielder who ever played the game, and gained 12 gold gloves in a row. A Hall of Famer, Willie was the NL MVP twice and an all star 24 times. "this game was invented for Willie Mays 100 years ago," said teammate Ray Sadecki.

I found the card in the bottom of a box i bought at a yard sale. Card is in good shape as far as I can tell. Yes it will come in a cover.
