my mom used to hide elf on the shelfs everywhere at xmas time told us kids the elfes were watching us 4 santa and we believed her,i did the same to my kids when they were little also,lol fanned

Thank you that's where the idea came from. It's a letter about what that elf reports back to Santa. A friend has one and her little girl is sick so Santa sent her a letter saying feel better along with a magical teddy bear to squeeze tight when she don't feel well
