Questions & Comments

Although a ps3 does take a sata drive, you should keep in mind that the drive it requires is a 2.5, not a 3.5. The difference is the size. 3.5 Are large, go inside desktop computers, and wouldn't fit in a ps3, 2.5 fit inside laptop computers.

yes PS3 is SATA only but the disk its good for storage :)

has this been formatted? also when replacing hd in desk top are sata and ide interchangeable? I have a bad hard drive and all my installation disks, done one before but was like 15 years ago, wondering if I can manage it again on my own....:)

Yes it is formatted IDE and SATA have different cable and power hook ups if you get the same that you have the swap is pretty easy

Nice HDD, small capacity Maxtor were great HDDs and also very reliable. Better to have 130 GB than 1 TB Maxtor. Does this one have any bad sectors?
