Lathyrus odoratus 'Black Knight' is a crimson black, old-fashioned, highly scented sweet pea. 8/10 scent.

Dark purplish-maroon blossoms are nearly black! Introduced in 1898 by Henry Eckford, a pioneering sweet pea breeder. Very fragrant.

No garden is complete without sweet peas. Grow them over arches, tepees and trellis and plant them with your runner beans to draw lots of insect pollinators into your veg patch.
