I'm an avid ebayer and etsy enthusiast. I'm new to Listia so I'm still unsure about alot. But you never learn until you dive in. Do I have to wait for Listia to verify me? I've gotten as many badges as I can at this this moment.

No, once you sign in, look on the left of the page and scroll down to account settings. Under that will be "verify account" click on that and then verify your account, its fast and easy.
