Have you tried finding wheat cents from any time before the 1940s lately. I was in the local coin store recently and I could not believe the prices he had on the few 1930s Lincolns that were there. The owner said that there were a couple of guys that come by once a week and buy all they can. I don't know if it's that way everywhere but he said he can't get enough pre-1940 Lincolns to satisfy them.
