The listing, Retro Lincoln Beautyware TEA CANISTER metal stainless chrome mirror vintage has ended.

Chrome TEA canister by Lincoln Beautyware in good preowned condition. Typical light scratches, etc. for its age. No interior stains. Stainless steel mirror finish with matching lid, which has a black melamine (?) knob on top.

Measures 6" x 5" x 4.5".

If this is 'older' enough, im just wondering if the knob..is bakelite/celluloid? Just curious n? Ula Dayle

Hi Ula, Good question! I really don't know what the handles are made of. I Googled Lincoln Beautyware, and Bakelite was mentioned as a material they used for knobs, but I also saw that some had wood, so I couldn't say for sure what actual substance these knobs are. They aren't wood, and they may be Bakelite. I'm no expert, but they do seem to be of that super hard plastic made during the era, which, I guess, is Bakelite. Sorry I couldn't be more specific, and thank you for your interest! Debby
