Winsor & Newton Artisan Water Mixable Oil Colors are made from modified linseed oil and modified safflower oil, specifically developed to appear and work just like conventional oil paint. Because of the depth of color, buttery consistency, lightfastness, performance and drying times of Artisan, artists are to to utilize the same techniques that they use with conventional oil color.
