The listing, **3.0GHz INTEL CORE 2 DUO DESKTOP PC PROCESSOR** has ended.

#2of2 E8400 Intel Core 2 Duo 3.0GHz Socket LGA775 Desktop Processors I currently have listed. Again, this is one of the fastest in the Core 2 line up and would make an excellent upgrade to your 775 desktop PC. Feel free to comment and ask questions as I'll do my best to address any questions or concerns. Of course, it has been tested for full functionality and shipping is FREE in the USA.**NOTE** THIS AUCTION IS FOR THE FIRST(ONE) CPU PICTURED! The photo with 2 shown is for proof of having two in my possession. Thanks for looking and GL!

Cool Auction! I'm running a Core 2 Duo 2.20 GHz so the boost to 3.0 would be nice.

Indeed, it would be very noticeable.

I'm sure it will have a similar effect back when I had a Pent D 2.20 system and upped it to a Pent D 3.5. When I got my current Core 2 Duo 2.20 system to replace it after a power supply and Mobo melt down ( Power supply (Thermaltake TR2 600W) fried at the 100,000 hour until expected failure, lived its whole life, and took Mobo with it), this Core 2 Duo 2.20 GHz system blew the old Pent D system out of the water as far as response time when multi tasking and doing the light gaming I do.

Well, in contrary to what most people say(I tend to go against the flow lol) the BUS speed of 1333MHz is just as important as the 3.0GHz base frequency. A lot of people just ignore the BUS speed but is pretty much the heart of a cpu. Compare this one to the 3.06GHz E7400 I have posted. Higher base frequency but lower BUS speed.

Bus speed does count and I do consider it when I do upgrades. As long as the computer is faster though afterward, I am happy.

No prob, I definitely know what I'm doing when it comes to builds and upgrades but Geek Squad will not see it that way unless I spend more money to get my certs.
