Comfrey has been known for it's healing properties. This herb can be traced back to the earliest recordings in ancient Egypt as being used to knit broken bones back together and mend tears in the skin. Now, it is known for relieving pain of arthritis and other joint pain. It is has soothing sandalwood & vanilla essential oils added and provides immediate relief from pain.

Is this safe to use as a diaper cream, or should it not be used on broken skin?

The Calendula Balm is for diaper rash. Comfrey should not be used on babies & toddlers. I believe I have the calendula in an auction, I'll check & see. If not, I'll put it up right away.

I just fanned you... Let me know if you need to know of any other cures for animals, my dog got away & picked up by the shelter and came back damaged. My cures worked faster than the $300+ my daughter payed the vet!

Yes, as long as you can keep them from licking it off. And of course, I will fan you back!

Please forgive me, I thought I responded to your question. It heals humans quite well & quickly. It is made for humans, but honestly I used it on my dog once & he healed in 24 hrs.

Forgot, it has organic beeswax in it which is considered breathable. I also make calendula balm which is good for scratches, itching & minor scrapes as well. I have that posted as well.

LOL, you said you worked at an animal shelter.... I'm sorry I misunderstood... Yes of course it works for humans. I am laughing so hard because of my misunderstanding. Comfrey has been documented as a healing herb thousands of years ago, and I mean thousands! It currently is being studied by scientists around the world...

If someone is allergic to bee stings, can they use something that has beeswax in the preperation?

My research shows that it is extremely rare, like 1 in 10million rare. However, I can substitute the beeswax with vegetable emulsifying wax which has the same effect. Just let me know. There is beeswax or honey in many products we eat and use daily, double check your labels & let me know. When you win the auction, just email me a reminder to substitute the beeswax. - Michele
