Note date is very hard to read. The third and fourth digit is a 6 and 5. So it must be a 1865 penny. Low grade but its still a good year. But please look at all the picture and judge for yourself it is really hard to see, I could be seeing it wrong.
This is a great coin to own in your collection. Values have been climbing fast on Indian head coins of this age.
The pictures are the best I can get with my camera with a flash. The pics are the actual coin you will be receiving with FAST shipping. Thank you and good luck.
A very popular coin, everyone understands and has heard of an Indian Head penny. Common dates are now worth more and more. Many collectors are building collections and putting a heavy demand on the rare dates. The Indian Head Penny was designed by James B. Longrace. His initials did not initially appear on the minted pennies, but was later added in 1865. Contrary to the name, the portrait on the Indian Head Penny is not even an Indian. It really is a depiction of Lady Liberty wearing a Native headdress.
