I've also received fake solid sterling pieces from members who swore they were solid! The first clue is when they have several 'brand new' rings listed or already have been sold.

However, I've found honest Listians who shipped the real deal as well. How to discern: each piece is nearly always in used but perfect condition, or is handmade!

As a jewelry designer/instructor myself, I believe your ring is solid .925 and I hope you get lots of bids for your hard work and cost of materials!

As an EMT with allergies to plated base metals (burning red blisters and pustules), I certainly understand that it is paramount to be cautious!

By the way, nice work on your beautiful ring!!! Merry Christmas!

I don't know why people would do that to each other. Maybe b/c I have such bad allergies that I couldn't imagine not telling someone the truth that could possibly cause them a health problem. I have people tell me all the time that they have had a Ring that was marked and then turned out badly. I do feel bad that people do that to others.
I thank you very much for your comments and please know that I am not a rude person. I just don't know how to explain to someone (who hasn't bid with me before) that I am telling the truth. My hubby and I built an 1800's tech forge about 15 years ago because we read a book on how to do it and thought "hey why not?" We both fell in LOVE with it and we ran a successful business until I got Cancer. (Hubby is a Soldier and is now retired after 20 years but works the same job for a contract company=) So I know that sometimes my stuff may seem too good to be true. I have a lot of pieces that are brand new with tags but that is because I tag them with the size as soon as soon as I finish the the last polish on each one.
I really appreciate your comments and your wonderful compliments.
When it comes to credits so far I have always gotten at least what I put into them. That is really all I can ask. Anyway I ramble.
I really Loved your comments and compliments and I appreciate you taking the time to stop by and do so. You really made my week. I wish you the best on Listia on anything you bid on, list, or otherwise. I appreciate your beautiful soul! Have a Wonderful Wednesday! Happy Holidays and my best wishes for a Bright New Year! ~Namaste

Tested .925 ? Asking because some going around stamped are NOT real. Have won some, and am allergic, so I can tell.

I appreciate you stopping by. Feel free to take a look at my feedback so that you don't have to take my word for it. You can either believe or not that is your choice. I made this myself with my own two hands my hubby smelts for me because after Cancer I am not strong enough anymore to do so. However the "I am allergic so I can tell" part that is between you and the ring. ALL Silver Tarnishes and Silver alone is not strong enough to keep shape which is why all Silver is .925 because if it were pure Silver it would not stay a ring. So I don't know the nature of your allergy so I am not going to guarantee anything when you make a statement like that. I am allergic to some things that make my go into anaphylatic shock so I would never buy anything from someone I don't trust. If you allergy is that sever I suggest you go to Zales, Jareds, Helzbergs, or another Big Box Jewelry store. This is the least expensive of my rings but it is Lapis Lazuli and .925 Sterling Silver. I hammered in the stamp myself. So really you are stuck to stores that charge you the big bucks and come certified. I am sorry I don't have a better answer however I often marvel at how on earth you think I got to this much positive feedback if I am lying to my bidders. I am giving stuff away. If you want it please bid but don't threaten. We are all GIVING things away. I think I have earned better than that on here. I wish you a Happy Holiday with a warm heart and a Bright New year. ~Namaste

Thank you for the wonderful compliment. I personally have a chemical reaction to any thing but Gold or Gold FILLED. So I don't know how severe any given person's allergies are. I also always want to make sure that everyone understands that Silver Tarnishes and will turn anyone's finger black. I made this with my own two hangs from Ingots of .925 Silver we buy smelt and pour. So my thing is always to send people to my feedback b/c why would you take my word here when I put it in the listing so how is my word here any more valid to any one. All I can do is send you to my feedback. That way you know I am not speaking. It is the others that I have Given things to. So I do appreciate your liking the ring and wish you the very best on your bids. I just don't know what else to say. The weeks before Christmas are usually really hard on here as people get desperate and so it is odd to have people question me when I have given away so many pieces with so many happy people who have gotten them. I wish you the very best and I will take you at your word. Have a beautiful evening. ~Namaste

This is a stunning ring but it won't fit me. Do you have any other ring size 6 or under?

Those are the most rare sizes and even when I make them 6 is about as low as I can go with out making a new design because the artistic vision is is gone when you shrink it down like that. I do make them from time to time. I don't at this moment because the all GINNED out for Christmas but keep an eye out and hopefully I will have one or two for you in the new year. Thank you for liking my stuff enough to ask. ~Namaste
