Hearing-impaired Christina Burton (Sherean Neville) isn't very comfortable on the basketball court, but she decides to go out for her high school team anyway in hopes of gaining acceptance from her father, Mark (Joey Travolta) and her siblings. But when Mark becomes ill, he enlists Christina's brother, Jeff, to teach Christina the skills she'll need to be a successful basketball player. With his help, she overcomes her handicap and becomes a star. In the process of becoming a better basketball player, Christina learns many important lessons about life, overcoming obstacles, and family.This film is not rated, suitable for children of all ages.
