White lettering on a navy jersey. Card is in mint condition and in a protective team bag cocoon.

I found an interesting way, yet ingenious way to protect thick baseball cards. I place the card in a team bag. A team bag can accommodate all sizes of thick sports cards.

I then, peel of the tab to expose the adhesive and fold over a flap and then I place two pieces of scotch tape when I fold over the other flap of the team bag. Thus placing the card in a protective cocoon.

Look at photo number two very carefully at where the name J.P. Arencibia is, and you will understand first hand at how well protected this card is. Top loaders are a crapshoot and plastic holders can break very easily.

If you were going to remove the card from this protective cocoon very carefully, the card would still remain in mint condition.
