the one i had was silver.this one looks almost like it.

1847 i when Rogers bros and co.was started. if it has sterling or 925 stamped on the inside, then it would have been made in or around 1860- 1880..if not it was made in the 1940s or 50s and this is in extremely nice condition and no sign of wear if made in 1847.
