Historical action and romance from one of Japan's most beloved creators.
Kagome is a modern Japanese high school girl. She has always been the sort who never really believed in myths and legends, until one day when a hideous, otherworldly creature pulls her out of her own world and into Japan's ancient past! There she discovers more than a few of those dusty old legends are true, and her destiny is linked to one legendary creature in particular-a doglike half-demon called Inu-Yasha! That same trick of fate also tries both of them to the Shikon Jewel, or "Jewel of Four Souls", the smallest shard of which can gift the user with unimaginable power.
Resurrected by magic, the priestess Kikyo has been changed by her journey through death. Will her thirst for vengeance against Inu-Yahsa also doom Kagome? And will Inu-Yasha be able to choose been these two-the woman he once loved, or the gift who carried her reincarnated soul? The, we meet a Buddhist priest name Miroku who carries within hi his own little corner of hell...

That's awesome! I have DVDs, manga, video games and cards, but no really awesome merchandise like that. Did anyone see the Inuyasha necklace that ended the other day? It went out of my price range really quickly!

Would anybody be interested in Inuyasha cards if I listed them? I have quite a some from the English trading card game and a few from the Japanese version.

Yeah, her English voice actress was great! It drew me into the character more. In fact, the whole cast was fantastic.

I love love love this show! I'd stay up late every night just to watch it on adult swim =] I tried watching the original on netflix with the subtitles and ususally I don't mind subtitles but I couldn't do it =/ I'll need to go out and buy the whole darn set!

I did the same thing! The original Japanese was good, but the English voice acting was excellent! Not a whole lot of series out there that I can say the same about (unfortunately).
