Good Morning Gingerz,
This, like all of my products is concentrated and a little goes a long way. I use this & my daughter uses this and thus far it has not stained any of our clothing, etc. As a matter of fact I wear cotton scrubs when I make the products and sometimes it spills on me. Thus far I don't have any stains. However, when I wash my scrubs I always add baking soda to help break down the oils that get on my clothing.

Unfortunately, I cannot say yes to the hard water question because I have water filters. I believe it will work, however to the winner of this auction I am send soap samples that I know penetrate hard water and will be gentile enough for baby's skin.

The reason we asked about it being safe for cloth diapers is that many diaper creams waterproof the diapers, making them repel liquid, instead of absorbing it like they are supposed to. I am willing to give it a try and just use a couple of our older dipes until I'm sure.
