Yeah, the piece is one-of-a-kind (sort of, I found one on etsy awhile back, but haven't seen one since). Anyway, I'm shipping out of Honolulu, HI. I doubt it would arrive in time by the time the auction ends along with the shipping time (5-6 business days).

We think the eyes are made out of glass & it was carved out of boxwood.

How did you come by it and what makes you think its boxwood? Any idea of it's age?

I got it at an estate sale awhile back. I don't know for certain that it is made out of boxwood, only that I saw an exact one a few months ago that stated that it was made out of boxwood. Hope this helps.

Does the wood have an odor to it? I am a wood worker; although I do carve wood and and very familiar with the various species. It is very hard to tell from the photo what it is as the grain and texture is hidden by the carving. If it is an oily wood it might give off a destinctive odor
