The listing, 1967 Kennedy Half Dollar - Silver Clad has ended.
Up for grabs is this beautiful circulated example of the 1967 Kennedy half dollar. It's in great condition with some hints of green copper toning. Plenty of contact marks, but overall little wear. When Congress opted to eliminate silver from the dime and quarter beginning in 1965, it reached a compromise with the half dollar: Its silver content, while greatly reduced from the 90% of the 1964 coin, was placed almost entirely at the coin’s surface by bonding three strips of metal, the innermost one being primarily copper. These “silver-clad” pieces were coined from 1965 through 1970. Good luck bidding!!! No GIN on this coin. Shipped free in the USA to the winner.
