Up for auction is this wonderful silver ring size 8.5, stamped 925. The large pear cut dark red garnet is awesome. Many, many round cut midnight black onyx form double rows surrounding the main stone. Double rows of the same sparkling onyx stud the side bands. Garnet is the birthstone of January and onyx is that of February.These stones are laboratory created, but their properties, chemical, optical and physical, are identical to that of naturally occurring stones. Man made gems are much hardier than their naturally occurring cousins, not so subject to temperature change, drying out, cracking or grazing.
