I've had bad luck with these things. They almost always have issues.

Just posted an update above. on the condition of the systems. I am embarassed to say they degraded since last time i used them over 5 years ago

Awesome, ty for updating.
That's exactly what I heard about them, that the capacitors go out. If you're good with a soldering iron then they can be fixed.
I'll put in a bid for the games and the carrying case.
