The listing, antique highly collectable Alaskan highway pin has ended.

there aren't to many left that can remember when the U.S. and Canada made the joint venture to build the Al-Can highway. well here for auction is an actual lapel pin that was given to the workers upon completion of the alaskan highway back in 1942, at the START OF THE SECOND WORLD WAR. this pin is in mint condition and still on the original placard.

this beautiful piece of American history should be cherished by a collector of this type memorabilia.

My dad and mom drove back from Alaska with several other friends when he was discharged from the army in about 1956. I grew up seeing their home movies of their trip back to the states .. He is 81 now and I hope I can win this for him!
