The listing, Genuine Texas Bluebonnet seeds organically grown native wildflowers drought tolerant has ended.
This auction is for 10 Bluebonnet seeds that were collected from our field here in Central Texas, and the photos show some of the blooms where these were collected. Bluebonnets need well-drained soil, do well even in poor soil and dry conditions, and have a lovely fragrance, too. They naturally sprout in the Fall here, and it's time to get your seeds because they need to be establishing roots during the winter so they'll be ready to bloom in the Spring. Sometimes Bluebonnets have cream-colored blooms and there were a few plants in this field that had cream-colored blooms, so you might accidentally have some of those from these seeds, too. Bluebonnet seeds have extremely hard coats, and can lie dormant for years, if not treated. Your seeds need scarified if you want a good germination rate, and the first link below tells you how to start the seeds. Please check out the info at the following links to learn more about starting and growing Bluebonnets. Happy bidding, and good luck!
