Hi..I don't know much about para cord..is this soft and stretchy in texture or is it stiff and not stretchy?

Parachute cord (also paracord or 550 cordwhen referring to type-III paracord) is a lightweight nylon kernmantle rope originally used in the suspension lines of parachutes. This cord is useful for many other tasks and is now used as a general purpose utility cord by both military personnel and civilians. This versatile cord was even used by astronautsduring the 82nd Space Shuttle mission to repair the Hubble Space Telescope.[1]

The braided sheath has a high number of interwoven strands for its size, giving it a relatively smooth texture. The all-nylon construction makes paracord fairly elastic; depending on the application this can be either an asset or a liability.

This stuff us awesome. Not only is it great as a whole cord but inside (it's guts) are smaller cord great for tying up a shelter or anything. Used by the military a lot. You can't go wrong. Bidding here. Nice auction and good luck to everyone.
