No. It's full size. Completely closed it is 4.5 inches long. With pliers only extended it is 6 inches long.

Oh man! I'm so sorry guys! I just realized that I did not post the picture of the case! This Gerber multi-tool does come with a black case that has a loop to attach to your belt. - I hope people read this!

Alizaasstitt- to answer your question -I seeno model numbr on the tool. Tool does say U.S PATENT 5142721 5212844 PATPEND. GERBER US.A. - that's all I see.
