Description

The listing, Genuine Sterling Silver Irish Claddagh Ring Size 6 has ended.

This is an auction for a gently used Sterling Silver Claddagh ring size 6. I've had this ring for a while, but only wore it for a couple of months (I broke up with the boyfriend who gave me the ring after 2-3 months). It's a very nice, simple Claddagh ring but it's thick enough to be sturdy. I've polished it with professional grade polish & it shines like new. Since this is worth some money, I will be sending it with delivery confirmation. Please check out my other auctions (incl. a pair of Celtic Silver Earrings). Happy bidding!

Unsolicited info: The claddaugh is traditionally worn on the 4th finger of the right hand facing the user during the "sweetheart" stage, facing away from the user during the pre-engagement stage, moved to the right hand facing away from the wearer when engaged and turned toward the wearer during the wedding ceremony. Four rings in one.

Thanks for the info. I knew the basic concept, but not the whole story. Also, my wedding ring is from a different guy, so this particular ring was never going to serve that purpose for me. But who knows about the person who wins? Thanks for your comment.

This is beautiful. I love Black Hills gold and wear a BHG Claddagh ring on my right hand.

It's really convenient in certain situations. You simply wear the heart pointed inwards and it tells the world you are taken, wear it out & flirt away! Thanks for your comment.

wow... i don't see these around much... my parents couldn't afford diamonds so they decided to do this instead... eventually someone mistook it as a regular ring and it got lost now she just has a plain white gold band (which in my opinion is somewhat better than a diamond, but that's just how i grew to like it) and even though this isn't made of some super pricey metal, i think it'll be a great anniversary present.

will be watching =D

That's funny because my wedding ring is a plain "pipe cut" white gold band as well. Now if you can just sneak & see her ring size. There are details on how to size a ring, both w/ the ring & measuring the finger on Ebay. Thanks for commenting!

she's a size 6 (it amazes me how small her hands are for her age)
that's this ring's size right?

That's what I sized it as. Ebay has some cool tools for sizing rings, I used those. Thanks for the comment.

Do you mean mine or the person that told the history of the rings? Thanks for commenting.
