This is a NEW item and has never been used. However it has been sitting atop my closet shelf for about 3 months and has a little shelf wear on the edges from moving it around.

Overall, this is a GREAT item and would make a great accessory for any at-home schooler or anyone who just wants to have fun teaching/learning with their children.
