The listing, Maryland Golden Aster (Chrysopsis mariana) 50+ seeds has ended.
USDA Native Status: L48 (N) (Native)
USDA Hardiness Zone 4-7
A wonderful addition to the fall palette of pink and blue asters. Clusters of loose, single, 2", bright yellow daisy flowers cover the plant in the fall. Maryland golden aster truly is drought tolerant and easy to grow.
The leaves are alternate, simple, entire to ever-so-lightly toothed, hairy, with a strong mid-rib. The leaves are larger at the bottom of the plant, growing smaller toward the top of the flowering stems. The stems are very hairy (sometimes called “silky”). This perennial plant grows 1-2 feet in height and blooms from August until October.
You will receive a generous amount of seeds. I could count out 50 seeds to auction, but they are small and have fuzzy tops making counting a nightmare (see the third photo). So I will send as many as I can mail for one postage stamp, so you will get more than 50. I also include an informational insert about the plant when you win seeds.
I ONLY ship to verified addresses received thru the auction link. DO NOT EMAIL your address. If you have problems go to http://www.listia.com/support for help. Any ended auction without a verified address after 7 days will be relisted and the credits forfeited.
