Yeah i need 37 including Donphan and ho oh and lugia both peices
Yeah, Rare Candies are a must in those types of decks. Without them, and a handful of other necessities, Stage 2 decks go WAY to slow. My favorite deck in recent years has been an SP deck. All Basics, fast setup, nice attackers. Turns out a beefed up variation of what I had won Pokemon Worlds in an age group, if I'm correct. Not that I take credit for that. ;) Great cards and combinations are hard to pass up!
I have a hard time with Stage 2's. Avoid most in decks unless they have super quick setup, like a BS Blastoise/HS Feraligatr with Rain Dance. Set one of those up Turn Two or whatever, and you really have a jumpstart. Most Stage 2's don't do that and slow a deck down...just imo. Then again, if you look at some of the avant garde decks they come up with on say pokegym, they can really think outside the box!
I'm not really collecting. But I've either auctioned or given away most of a set's worth. Haven't gotten a few holos, some rares, Donphan (Prime), Lugia Legend (bottom), Ho-Oh Legend (top, bottom), and the "rare" Grass, Electric, or Dark Basic Energies. So maybe 12 that I haven't found in packs yet.
You'd figure a Chancey wouldn't be that hard to find, wouldn't you? One of my first Primes was a Blissey, around pack...8 or 9. I auctioned it off back then because I couldn't get the Basic. I would have been waiting a while if I had kept it...
what angelotter is asking is where are the other 3 cards -- she's asking this because . . . this listing says it has 12 cards in it -- only 9 are shown.
