I do not know how old these are, but I get the feeling they are old. I found them at an estate sale where the person had all kinds of neat trinkets from around the world. They are three boxes, each one smaller then the next so they fit inside one another if you wish. The top looks like very thin layers of wood, or a wood-like material used to make the flowers and decorations. Inside is lined with red felt. They are very light in weight. Very pretty.
