They are always new. I buy the hats, gloves, socks, etc. I then bead all of them. It was hard to get a good picture because of horrible lighting in my house. If you look at the one picture the hat still has the tag on it. I leave it just to show you that it's new. The actual color of this set is an actual off white or cream color. The bead work is shiny multi colored stars.
