I really could use this! Last time there was a Tornado Alert, I did not know about it, until a friend called to tell me to get out of my trailer! If the phone had been out and the tornado had hit! Well, I would not be here now, neither would my oldest son ( he is my caregiver/I am disabled) nor would my precious dog Gaisha and precious cat Maggie! So, I sure need this thingie! Be kind to yourself Always! Oh, I fanned you! Warmly, barbie

I read somewhere that you can hook a radio to the station and speak back & forth through the box to someone. I never tried it but seems like a good idea. This box does so many things.

This radio has the ability to do so many things. The lists goes on & on. Hope someone can use it. We just didn't bother to use it. It's just me and husband here and we just watch the weather station and news.

Tornadoes have luckily been missing where I'm at although some have been real close within a few miles.

Some people don't take them very seriously but I have seen the aftermath. I've had to evacuate once and the storm was already very closeby. I waited too late, there was back to back traffic and hotels were all filling up fast in the safe zone.
