I really do not know how these work, but they look interesting. there are 8 magnetic pieces. it appears this is a set of 4. There are tabs in the back. The brand Is Jo-Ann Stores.I think these would be used in snaps for purse or bag making. Also maybe to fix a broken purse snap or replace a button. New in package.
