Is it a carnation or a marigold? The leaves look like a marigold variety. It looks like Tagetes patula (yellow French variety) Thanks.

Yes you are correct in noting the closeness of the flowers,I have both,the seeds your bidding on are yellow carnations,I do grow yellow ,orange and multicolored varieties of marigolds.I have all kinds of marigold,I have yellow pale yellow and a few white carnation flower seeds.Thanks so much for looking!
