We have moved several times. Sometimes we have to disassemble things to move. My kitchen table has washers that during our first move got lost, we had to go to the Hardware store and search a million bins for the correct size. Next move, I just dropped the washers in a bag and taped them to a table leg, no headaches. Good question.
