Fast growing Ipomoea Palmata Vine could also be called a "Surprise A Minute!" The pigment within these flowers changes from ~ pale pinkish white to pink to lavender ~ within the same day!

Native to Africa, this vine is also called the Cairo Morning Glory. With its deep green palmate leaves set as a background to the large ever-changing hues, it is not hard to envision this beautiful vines place within the exotic gardens of ancient and modern, Egypt. Its fast growth habit is probably due to the fact that it thrives in the heat and is not fussy about soil conditions. This makes Mile A Minute Vine perfect for use as a fast growing privacy fence or trellis cover.
