Description
The listing, Victorian Lady original Photo "Cabinet Card" has ended.
Here is a postcard size Cabinet Card photo of a Victorian Period Lady. The Photographer (H.W. Osgood) who's studio is advertised on the back of the card also appears to have signed the front next to his monogram. It originated in Pittsfield, New Hampshire. Judging from the dress I'd guess 1870's or 80's. She's a mellow looking soul, not too creepy. She may not be your direct ancestor but let's give her a good home.
it is an original period photo. These are known as cabinet cards. A thin photo is mounted on a sturdy card often advertising the studio at which the portrait originated. This was common practice in the 1870s and 80s
