The listing, Large vintage skeleton key - #4 has ended.
The house I live in was built in the 1890s and recently completely redone. This house was one of the original canal houses on the Lackawaxen River and towpath in NE PA, home of the Stourbridge Lion steam engine.
See this interesting writeup on the steam engine: http://www.waynehistorypa.org/htopics/stourbridge.php
I found several skeleton keys in the basement when the house was being revamped. This is one. There are no longer any locks that use a skeleton key in the house and I have no use for it, so I figured I'd offer it up here in case anyone is interested. The key is in good vintage condition and is about 3 1/8 inch long. It has a #4 on the top of the key.
And it's free! Free shipping in the US, too!
