Description

The listing, Mystery Stone And A Big Ring has ended.

A large shiny stone, dark brown l found this piece. I have had it
for years. The mystery here is that l don't have a clue what kind of stone it is. I just know it's beautiful and would
make a fabulous piece of jewelry. As far as l know it is one of a kind. I am adding a antique ring size 7 a huge dark yellow stone may be a quartz. It is a .o5 of 14 karat gold. The stone is about a 1/2 inch long, big. Happy bidding.

I saw that... Just thought it would be stamped something else I guess... I'm unfamiliar with .05 of 14k... Usually any decimals are describing the carat weight if the stone but that stone is defiantly a few whole carats... Way bigger than .05 ..... And even if it was describing the percentage of gold in the ring gold plating is usually shown as 1/15 for 14k or it'll say 14kgp... Just not sure what to make of this one :) it's pretty though! :)

That is the first time I have ever seen it myself. The lady I got it from said it meant that the ring has 5% of 14carats, is just enough to keep it from turning.
