For the love of vintage-I received quite a few pieces from her. Definitely beefed up my antique/vintage glove and jewelry collection and got a beautiful genuine emerald and diamond ring as well. Shocked me because my mom usually gives my sister the pieces with genuine gems and diamonds that I would never part with and she turns around and sells them for something bad.

I'm Sicilian we have many similarities in our languages. I'm not entirely convinced that my mama didn't step out with a Hispanic male though because I'd rather have fresh tortillas than a piece of toast! And pretty much all the food too! Not to fond of tripe though :)

Does the necklace has the lobster clasp? If it is, do you know if the clasp on the necklace has been replaced? Because the invention of the lobster clasps in jewelry was later on. The earliest is around the 1960s and was very popular in the 1990s.

I've had a few similar pieces, my husband finds a lot of jewelry when he buys out sales or does an estate you'd be surprised what people just disregard as worthless and some of it is priceless! :)
