It's through USPS, it's a cheap and affordable shipping option when shipping small books, movies, and video games. I've used it to ship a few games on amazon and eBay before and it's been very reliable
Awesome! Welcome to Listia btw, even if I don't win I think you'll like this site. It's a decent little community. Does media mail use tracking? If so I'll definitely be checking that out for most of my auctions from now on. lol
@RandallRawrs - If you purchase your mailing labels through Paypal, yes, Media Mail includes tracking. I imagine it should too if you purchase from counter. One of the things about Media Mail is that you're technically not allowed to ship stuff that has advertising in it (amongst other limitations, though people abuse it all the time because it is so darn cheap and you can ship up to 70 lbs of stuff). It is meant for educational materials, like books, scripts, essays, DVDs, CDs. There's a really good guide here: http://www.ebay.com/gds/Making-the-Most-of-Media-Mail-Save-Cents-on-Shipping-/10000000000902588/g.html
So...technically you're not supposed to use Media Mail for shipping video games, and they could open the package to inspect it if they wanted to. BUT lots of people do anyways, and I imagine there are some ways to help prevent it from getting rejected, like giftwrapping the case so they don't open that....etc.
