Sorry to interrupt the conversation here ladies, lol, but I thought I would try and answer some of the questions you posted. First of all, "exact" postage means that the winner will have to pay whatever the exact amount of postage is from point A to B. So, say the item weighs two pounds, and the post office says it cost $6.45 to mail it to Chicago, for example, then the winner will have to pay $6.45. Now, other sellers prefer to use the flat rate postage. That way they roll into the shipping cost whatever the cost of the box, poly mailer, tape, gas to the post office, maybe even a portion of their "overhead" (maybe building rent, employee salary, and other fees). I have to say that I see a lot of people use it on here, but they are jacking up that price way too much, which is against Listia rules. This is an auction site, items are win, not for sale. But they do it anyway. If you are auctioning something, you are likely to get higher bids if you ship for free, meaning you psy to ship it to the winner. Also, ine ladt piece of advice: if you are not verified, please do so asap. Many people won't bid on your auction if you are not verified, because a lot of scammers will put up pics of stuff and then collect postage, but never send the item. So please maintain the integrity of this site, and get verified. Let me know if you have any other questions! Happy bidding!
