Many years ago I had trouble with wounds healing and dry skin issues. I did a lot of research and learned that comfrey (the herb) contains high amounts of allantoin, which promotes rapid cell division and therefore new skin, creating a healing environment. I am an organic gardener and grow my own comfrey and calendula plants. I became self taught on making a skin oil treatment using pure olive oil, comfrey, calendula and peppermint, and recently started adding goldenseal for its benefits as well. The herbs are infused into the olive oil, triple strained, and poured into sterile 1 oz. glass roll-on bottles.

To treat extremely dry (or wounded) skin, just roll on a liberal amount and massage it gently into the skin, then let it absorb. Use 2-3 times per day for best benefits.
