Description

The listing, DIY ** DOUBLE ** Piercing Kit -- Hollow Needle has ended.

Double kit includes:

TWO 316 LVN (Surgical Grade Stainless Steel) Laser tri-cut hollow piercing needles.
These are 14 Gauge.
2 rubber "corks"

Shipping... As always... F R E E!!

(Seller assumes no responsibility what-so-ever)

316 LVN tells you about the quality of the steel the needle is made of. In this case, it is surgical grade steel. Other grades of steel could be more porous allowing microscopic pits and valley's for bacteria to linger in. That is not the case with these needles. I autoclaved (sterilized them) in medical grade sterilization packages. You can read the package and rest assured they were processed properly.

These needles make for a clear "CUT" into the tissue, instead of the puncture wound you would get from a "mall" piercing. Because it is a clean cut, piercings done with the correct needles tend to heal faster and are less likely to get infected.

I send these out in a standard size envelope, between two index cards and laminated in clear packing tape. I have shipped others this way, and as reflected in my feedback, everyone has been satisfied.

For anyone wondering: A regular piercing (like the kind you get at the mall) is about 18-20 gauge, So this is a little bit bigger. When speaking about gauges, it is important to know that the SMALLER the number, the bigger the hole.

If you would like insurance, tracking or Priority Mail Shipping on this item, please let me know. I accept Paypal for the exact amount for any service. :) Otherwise, your item will be shipped first class in an envelope.

Good Luck and Happy Bidding!!

BTW -- because each needle is packed in it's own sterilization pouch, you can be sure it is sterile just by checking the test on the front of each package. Also -- I sterilize at 200 lbs of steam pressure for 20 minutes.

i'm not sure why you seemed to take offense, listia is also one of my hobbies, not a source of income. i'd ask the same thing if i were going into a shop to get work done, because you can't be sure until you've asked. i appreciate your response but those strips seal blue not because they're sterilized, but because they're closed. if you're using an autoclave, then yes, you can indeed verify that they're sterilized if the machine is running correctly. but i didn't know until i asked whether or not you used an autoclave or a dry heat sterilizer, which requires that the items be bagged after sterilization.

Sorry... I didn't mean to seem that way. I have always used an autoclave (10+ years) and I bag everything before it goes in. Thanks for the info!

will you be listing any curved needles for piercing your belly button?

not a problem! thanks for actually answering my question. and autoclaves are awesome. :) used a dry heat sterilizer at the old shop i used to work at (not for any piercing stuff, just tattoo grips and stuff that was bagged while in use as well) for a short time while we were waiting for the spore results on the autoclave and let me tell you, handling that hot equipment to bag it is painful even through gloves.
