Lady in the Water, I realized recently, wanted to be something like Kung Fu Hustle. But it never really comes together. Interesting elements don't manage to make a whole. (Still five million times better than the atrocity of direction/adaptation that was The Last Airbender live action movie.)

For the M. Night Shyamalan completist, it's interesting to see the director's angle on a fairy tale.

This is a used DVD, but it has the outer paper sleeve as well as the case and disc, all in like-new condition.
